Fire Pyramid Games Studio is seeking a talented and experienced Unreal Engine developer (Remote) to join our passionate team and propel our upcoming racing game to the finish line. You'll collaborate closely with designers, artists, and fellow programmers, breathing life into our vision and crafting an immersive, adrenaline-pumping experience for gamers everywhere.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with designers and artists to translate game concepts and mechanics into robust, performant code using Unreal Engine.
• Develop and implement core gameplay features like vehicle physics, AI racing behavior, and power-up systems.
• Optimize game performance for various platforms (PC, consoles, etc.).
• Craft clean, efficient, and well-documented code that facilitates collaboration.
• Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Maintain a pulse on the latest advancements in Unreal Engine and the racing game development landscape.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Unreal Engine, encompassing C++ programming, Blueprints, and the Unreal development pipeline.
• Proven experience developing gameplay mechanics for 3D games, ideally with a focus on racing titles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to overcome technical challenges.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to foster a positive team environment.
• A burning passion for racing games and a deep understanding of the genre's intricacies.
• Bonus Points:
• Experience with AI pathfinding and crafting intelligent racing AI behavior.
• Familiarity with vehicle physics simulation and optimization techniques.
